Looking for Old Friends

[Updated December 28, 2006.] This is one big shot in the dark. But I decided to set something up on my personal site just to see if anybody searching for their own names on the Internet should come across this page. I'm looking for old friends and acquaintances from my past with whom I have lost touch. Finding these people on the Web has proven to be impossible, so I'm hoping they find me. Thus far it's worked pretty well: I got back in touch with five old chums. So if any of the below people is you, or someone you know, give me a holler! You can email me in care of this website. PEOPLE I AM LOOKING FOR...

Steve Kelly. Full name Steven Carl Kelly. Another good friend from Cupertino. He went to college at UC San Diego. Lost touch with him after 1992. I think he went to the wedding of Cupertino alumnus Ivan Wang in 1996 or 1997, so he should still have some contacts who can track him down.

Gina Lopes. Graduated from Cupertino High School 1988. Understand she became a kindergarten teacher in San Jose. Had a brother named Joe Lopes.

Mark Russell. My old friend from Fremont Older Elementary School. Saw him last in 1992, I believe. He went to Faria Elementary then to Bellarmine High. His father's name is Larry Russell and his mother's name is Yvonne Russell. They lived on Stendahl Lane in Cupertino. I think Mark went to Santa Clara University but I'm not sure. He was planning on becoming a pilot. I would love to hear from this guy again.

Sheila Ramirez. A really nice person from Cupertino who disappeared the year before graduation (1988). I wasn't a good friend of hers but remember her as a cool human being.

Marc Diaz. A pretty cool guy who I met back in 1984 when I was first using my little 300 baud modem. He accessed Bay Area BBS lines under the handle "Surf Rat." Lived in Los Altos and went to Bellarmine High School. Graduated from there in 1989 or 1990. Haven't talked to the guy since 1985.

Olga Montes. Worked as a paralegal at a non-profit legal firm in Los Angeles. Lived in the Beverly-Fairfax area. Got a boyfriend in 1996 and completely disappeared soon after.

Tim Fredrickson. Went to Cupertino High with me, and also De Anza college. Very blonde.

Rose Kunkle. Very sweet person who worked as a receptionist at Digital Planet, a web design firm, in 1995. Got married to an Englishman and now she is Rose Smith. Last saw her shortly after her wedding, in 1996. There's a million Rose Smiths out there but not many Rose Kunkles.

Dallas Davis. My old English and Humanities teacher at Cupertino. She gave me much encouragement as a writer and also taught me a lot about art history. Doesn't seem to teach at Cupertino anymore. Lived in Scotts Valley I think.
